The concert was super cool.
I think all went well, except that the presentation of tokens of appreciation was quite messy. Other than that, all was good.
I'm glad the concert ended in a way where all the audience were like super high and enjoying themselves. Exactly like what I pictured it to be. Super glad about that.

I couldn't have done it without you guys. It's been great working with you guys over the past few months. After all the shit we've gone through together, all the mistakes we made, I think we've really learnt a lot a lot. At least I've learn a lot. Tomorrow's the day.
Being a part of the band and the oboe section is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I've got awesome seniors, and a junior that I'll always be fucking proud of.
The whole leadership thing has also taught be a lot of things that no teacher or anybody could have taught me. Like Fabian said, it's now time to look back and reflect, learn from my mistakes and everything.
Feeling kind of sad now. I cannot imagine how tomorrow will turn out to be, but I hope everything goes well.

Mr. Tay gave us this totally random piece of information about Valentine's Day in the middle of P.E. lesson after we did our warm ups or something. I was sitting at the back so I couldn't really hear lah. But here's what Wiki told me.
Numerous early Christian martyrs were named Valentine. Until 1969, the Catholic Church formally recognized eleven Valentine's Days. The Valentines honored on February 14 are:
1. Valentine of Rome (Valentinus presb. m. Romae): a priest in Rome who suffered martyrdom about AD 269 and was buried on the Via Flaminia. His relics are at the Church of Saint Praxed in Rome and at Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church in Dublin, Ireland.
2. Valentine of Terni (Valentinus ep. Interamnensis m. Romae). He became bishop of Interamna (modern Terni) about AD 197 and is said to have been killed during the persecution of Emperor Aurelian. He is also buried on the Via Flaminia, but in a different location than Valentine of Rome. His relics are at the Basilica of Saint Valentine in Terni (Basilica di San Valentino).
The Catholic Encyclopedia also speaks of a third saint named Valentine who was mentioned in early martyrologies under date of 14 February. He was martyred in Africa with a number of companions, but nothing more is known about him.
Some sources say the Valentine linked to romance is Valentine of Rome, others say Valentine of Terni. Some scholars (such as the Bollandists) have concluded that the two were originally the same person. In any case, no romantic elements are present in the original Early Medieval biographies of either of these martyrs.
An overview of attested traditions relevant to the holiday is presented below, with the legends about Valentine himself discussed in the end.
The first recorded association of Valentine's Day with romantic love is in Parlement of Foules (1382) by Geoffrey Chaucer:
For this was on seynt Volantynys day Whan euery bryd comyth there to chese [choose] his make [mate].
This poem was written to honor the first anniversary of the engagement of King Richard II of England to Anne of Bohemia. A treaty providing for a marriage was signed on May 2, 1381. (When they were married eight months later, he was 13 or 14. She was 14.)
On the liturgical calendar, May 2 is the saints' day for Valentine of Genoa. This St. Valentine was an early bishop of Genoa who died around AD 307. Readers incorrectly assumed that Chaucer was referring to February 14 as Valentine's Day. However, mid-February is an unlikely time for birds to be mating in England.
Chaucer's Parliament of Foules is set in a fictional context of an old tradition, but in fact there was no such tradition before Chaucer. The speculative explanation of sentimental customs, posing as historical fact, had their origins among eighteenth-century antiquaries, notably Alban Butler, the author of Butler's Lives of Saints, and have been perpetuated even by respectable modern scholars. Most notably, "the idea that Valentine's Day customs perpetuated those of the Roman Lupercalia has been accepted uncritically and repeated, in various forms, up to the present".

Watched it with Jerelyn today. Together with Jason, Jasper and Eugene.
My date with the love of my life was awesome. Worth the money. Didn't pay much cos Jerelyn got a free ticket and all. But it'd definitely be worth the money.
I mean, yeah, the travel back in time thing and the bball moves were quite fake lah, (anyway, what's with Jay Chou and travelling back in time?) but the actors did a great job. Funny, touching, and everything.
I want to watch again!
Money money money. Time time time.
Awh man.
Went to get Valentines' gifts. Florists were super busy. The sweets and chocolates shelf was quite empty too.

Anyway, the movie's inspiring. I'm gonna go and learn to play basketball. Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Saying that Economics lessons are not a waste of my bloody time, is like saying I didn't eat a fonging piece of pineapple tart throughout the whole CNY season.
Like, what the fong is with chit chatting and spending a whole fonging lesson giving out test papers? And repeating stuff over and over again. And talking super slowly. And complaining about sore throat. And taking like 5 minutes to actually greet the class. And constantly hinting about dropping the damned subject.
Fong it lah.
Like wasting my damned life away. Hate the Mondays with two Econs lessons.
